Our Sec 1 classes at Writers Studio began in 2014. This course was designed to help students improve their performance, and it has maintained its high standards to this very day.

What Our Programme Covers
Our programme materials are specially designed in-house and include:
- Up-to-date visual text resources, designed in-house.
- Practice questions closely aligned with exam and secondary school weighted assessment standards.
- Comprehension passages drawn from a wide variety of genres, with varied question formats to match patterns found in different schools.
- Focused training in summary writing, exposing students to this component and helping them score better.
- Grammar and editing practices set to the highest standard, paced gradually in areas of focus and difficulty.
- Thematic training covering the essential themes needed for secondary school performance.
- Training in non-narrative essays such as argumentative, discursive, and reflective, along with recounted narrative essays.
- Listening comprehension integrated into the first two terms of training.
Oral practice comprehensively covered and integrated into our monthly curriculum, ensuring students are immediately exposed to the requirements of the O Levels.
All of these components are designed and taught by our experienced teachers, who have successfully guided students through the O Levels year after year.

Course Fees:
$82.25 before discount per lesson.
A minimum sign-up of 8 lessons is required to enjoy a 10% discount for online registration, and get an additional 5% discount when you enrol in more than 9 lessons!
Prices are subjected to GST.

Saturday (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)
Dates: 11, 18, 25 Oct, 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 Nov, 6, 13, 20 Dec
Sunday (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
Dates: 12, 19, 26 Oct, 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Nov, 7, 14, 21 Dec
The course runs on a modular basis from 11 October to 21 December. Missing one lesson will not affect subsequent lessons.
